Rivers Cuomo - Alone II: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo - Geffen, 2008 Whoa. Dude. I understand you went to Harvard. I am well aware of the buhzillions of dollars you’ve made with Weezer. At this point, why not just sleep the rest of your life off. Why? Because I can’t and you can. Instead, we’re both putting out sub-par music that we’ve recorded in our living rooms. Think about how true that is….go ahead, take your time (reader) and think about how absolutely true that statement is and how ironic it is that I am doing the exact same thing Rivers Cuomo is doing (at least musically). Im not sitting around thinking about what to do with the million bucks just chillin in my wallet, but I am trying my hardest to make music, by myself….alone….2…as well. But here’s the diff between me and Rivs. Making music that no one listens to is all I have. He has no excuse.
